Linguine with White Clam Sauce
Linguine With White Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. (1/2 pkg.) linguine, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 3 tbsp. butter or margarine and 3 (6 1/2 oz. each) cans minced clams or whole clams, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook linguine according to package and drain.
Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, saute onion, garlic in melted butter or margarine. Add clams with juice, salt, basil and pepper.
Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve clam sauce over hot linguine.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
