Lime Pickles
Lime Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. lime, 2 gal. cold water, 7 lb. cucumbers, sliced 1/4-inch thick, 2 qt. vinegar and 4 lb. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

And pour over cucumbers and let stand for hours.
Rinse well, about 5 times.
Cover with clear water and let stand for 4 hours.
Heat vinegar, sugar, celery seed, pickling spice and salt to lukewarm.
Pour over cucumbers. Let overnight.
Pickles and vinegar solution and boil for 20 minutes.
Add green food coloring. Put in jars and seal.
