Lightened Spaghetti a La Carbonara
Lightened Spaghetti A La Carbonara is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. spaghetti, 2 slices turkey bacon, 1 beaten egg, 1 c. evaporated skim milk and 1/2 c. frozen peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Spray nonstick pan with Pam and cook bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon.
In same pan, combine egg, peas, milk and peppers.
Cook for 6 minutes over medium high heat.
Do not boil.
Stir in bacon and half of cheese. Heat through.
Pour over hot noodles and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Serves 4.
