Light Bread
Light Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 tsp. salt, 1 c. hot milk and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Place sugar, shortening and salt in large bowl.
Add hot milk and stir to soften shortening.
Cool; beat in eggs.
Soften yeast in warm water.
Stir into shortening mixture.
Add 4 cups flour. Beat smooth. Add more flour, enough to make smooth, soft dough. Bake for 25 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 36 rolls.
