Lemon Sponge Pie
Lemon Sponge Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 5 tbsp. melted butter, 3 egg yolks, 2 lemons (rind and juice) and 5 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine sugar, butter and egg yolks.
Then add lemon rind and juice, flour and milk.
Mix this all together, then last of all, add stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into 2 pie pans.
Bake in slow oven for about 3/4 of an hour.
