Lemon Sponge-Cake Pie

Mix sugar, flour and salt.
Grate lemon rind; add to flour mixture.
Set aside.
Separate eggs; beat yolks.
To egg yolks, add lemon juice, milk and melted butter.
Add liquid mixture to dry mixture; mix well.
Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into above.
Prepare favorite crust in 9-inch pan.
Pour in filling; bake at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes.
