Lemon Extract Cake
Lemon Extract Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter, 2 1/2 c. sugar, 6 eggs, 3 oz. lemon extract and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, two at a time, and beat.
Add flour and baking powder and mix good.
Add raisins, cherries, pineapple and pecans.
Mix and add lemon extract.
Bake in angel food pan that has been greased and floured.
Bake at 300Β° for 1 hour before opening oven, then test for doneness.
Keeps well.
