Lemon Barbecue Sauce
Lemon Barbecue Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) bottle catsup (about 2 c.), 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce, 1 large onion, finely chopped, 2 medium lemons, thinly sliced and seeds removed and 2/3 c. packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat all ingredients to boiling in 3-quart pan.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered.
Stir occasionally for 10 minutes.
Serve hot over your favorite cooked meats or baste whatever you like to grill.
Can be used on all meats and seafood.
Cover and store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, remove lemon slices and store in fridge up to 1 month.
