Layered Lettuce Salad
Layered Lettuce Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, 1 c. diced celery, 4 eggs, cooked and sliced, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (uncooked) and 1/2 c. diced green pepper (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Tear lettuce into small, bite-size pieces and place in a 9 x 13-inch glass dish.
Layer rest of the ingredients in the order given.
Add the sugar to the mayonnaise and spread over the top as you would frosting.
Top with the grated cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
At serving time, garnish with additional bacon and parsley.
