Layer Salad
Layer Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Made with c sliced carrots, medium head iceberg lettuce, shredded, salt and pepper, c. celery, sliced and (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cooked and chilled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook carrots in a small amount of boiling salted water until tender-crisp; drain.
Chill in refrigerator.
Place lettuce in large glass bowl.
Season with salt and pepper.
Layer carrots, celery, peas, onion, olives and bacon over lettuce.
Spread 1 cup Blender Mayonnaise over top.
Sprinkle with sugar if desired. Garnish with parsley and additional olives.
Serve with remaining mayonnaise.
Can use 1 cup mayonnaise with 1/4 cup milk and 3 teaspoons sugar.
Mix and pour on top instead of Blender Mayonnaise.
