Lasagna
Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 c. onion, chopped, 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped, 28 oz. tomato paste and 1/2 c. mushroom stems and pieces with liquid, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper in a large saucepan.
Add tomato paste, mushrooms, garlic and spices. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook noodles; rinse and drain.
Place 1/3 of sauce in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Top with crisscross layer of half the noodles. Spread with cottage cheese over noodles.
Add 1/2 of remaining sauce.
Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese.
Add remaining noodles with 1 cup Ricotta cheese, remaining sauce, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
