Lasagna
Lasagna is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. hot sausage, 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. onion, 2 cloves garlic and 2 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Remove sausage from outer casing; chop meat.
Saute sausage, beef, onion and garlic until brown.
Add sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, basil leaves, fennel seed, pepper and half of parsley; mix well. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and 1/2 cup of water.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until thick, 1 1/2 hours.
Cook lasagna. Drain.
