Lasagna
Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 onion, chopped, garlic, minced, 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce and 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In saucepan, brown the ground beef, onion and garlic.
Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper.
Simmer for 1 hour. Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until tender; drain. Combine the egg, cottage cheese and 1 teaspoon of salt; mix well. Grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
Layer 1/2 the noodles, 1/2 the meat sauce, 1/2 the cottage cheese, 1/2 the Mozzarella and 1/2 the Parmesan.
Repeat layers.
Bake in a 375Β° oven for 30 minutes.
