Jiffy Chicken 'n Rice
Jiffy Chicken 'N Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. cooked regular rice (1/2 c. uncooked), 1 (8 oz.) jar cheese spread, 1/4 c. milk, 2 c. cubed chicken and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed and drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 375°.
To hot rice in saucepan add cheese spread, milk, chicken, peas and 1/2 can onions.
Stir well. Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake, covered, at 375° for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Top with remaining onions. Bake, uncovered, 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
