Jellied Salad
Jellied Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 c. ground carrots, 1/2 pt. whipping cream, 1 small lemon jello and 2 tsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Drain the liquid from the pineapple and add water to make 1 cup.
Heat and add jello and lemon juice. Cool, then add whipped cream, carrots and pineapple.
Put the sugar and salt in the whipping cream. Pour into mold and cool until set.
Unmold by dipping in warm water for a few seconds.
Turn out onto plate and serve with any garnish you wish.
