Jan's Turtle Cheesecake
Jan'S Turtle Cheesecake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs, 6 tbsp. melted margarine, 1 (14 oz.) pkg. kraft caramels, milk and 1 c. chopped toasted pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt the caramels with enough milk to make a creamy consistency.
Pour over crust.
Toast the pecans by placing in oven at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add the pecans on top of the caramels.
Beat the cream cheese with the sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the sour cream and vanilla.
Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool. Melt the chocolate chips with the whipping cream and top cake.
