Jan Hagel's Crisp Cookies
Jan Hagel'S Crisp Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream butter, margarine and sugar; add egg yolk, flour, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and nuts and mix well.
Pat mixture onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Beat egg white, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, water and vanilla until frothy.
Spread over mixture in the pan.
Top with chopped pecans.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut immediately when removed from the oven.
