Jam Cake (3 Layers) is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. buttermilk, 3 c. flour, sifted and 1 c. blackberry jam, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Sift spices with flour; cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, beating well.
Add pineapple; continue beating.
Mix soda with buttermilk; add alternately with flour and first mixture.
Add jam and preserves.
