Cream butter.
Add sugar gradually, beating until well blended. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
Add egg yolks.
Sift together dry ingredients.

Bake in a tube pan at 300° for 15 minutes, then at 360° for 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
