Jalapeño Corn Bread
Jalapeño Corn Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal, 1 tbsp. flour (heaping), 1 c. buttermilk, 2/3 c. salad oil and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix corn meal and flour; add buttermilk, oil, eggs and corn. Beat and mix well.
Stir in jalapeños and onions.
Mix in about half of the cheese.
Grease a 9 x 14-inch baking dish with butter; heat well.
Pour in batter and sprinkle with rest of cheese.
Bake at 375° for 35 minutes or until done.
