Made with 1/2 lb. sweet italian sausage, 1/2 lb. hot italian sausage, 1 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese, 2 1/4 c. biscuit mix and 1 tbsp. fennel, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine uncooked sausage with cheese, removing any casing. Knead to blend.
Add biscuit mix, fennel and oregano.
Mix well until a dough forms.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.

Serve hot.
Makes 9 dozen.
May be frozen.
Thaw and reheat at 375° for 3 minutes.
