Italian Rice
Italian Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. uncooked rice, 2 tbsp. bacon fat, 3/4 lb. ground chuck beef, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1/2 green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat fat in a 10-inch skillet; add rice, ground beef and onion.
Cook, stirring frequently, until meat, rice and onion are soft.
Add green pepper and celery and cook slowly for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
Stir occasionally.
