Italian Pot Roast
Italian Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. arm or chuck roast, 1 pkg. dry italian salad dressing mix, 1/2 c. water, 2 tsp. garlic powder and 2 tbsp. dry onion or 1 small fresh onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Trim roast of all visible fat.
Place in crock-pot.
Sprinkle other dry ingredients over meat.
Add water.
Cook on high for 6 to 8 hours.
Turn off and let sit for 1/2 hour.
(Roast will absorb liquid.)
Shred meat with wire whisk and serve on "sub" rolls with cheese.
Also good over buttered noodles or rice.
