Italian Cream Cheese Cake
Italian Cream Cheese Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 5 egg yolks, 1 c. buttermilk, 2 c. sugar and 1 can coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream together the margarine and shortening. Add sugar.
Beat until smooth and add egg yolks. Combine flour and soda. Add the above to the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in vanilla. Beat stiffly and fold egg whites, coconut and nuts into mixture.
Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans. Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
