Italian Cream Cake
Italian Cream Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 5 egg yolks and 2 c. sifted flour (plain), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Using an electric mixer, beat margarine and shortening.
Add sugar and beat well.
Add egg yolks, one at a time.
Sift flour and soda together.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Stir using mixer.
Add coconut, vanilla and pecans.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into three greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
