Italian Cream Cake
Italian Cream Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 2 c. sugar, 5 egg yolks and 2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and Crisco.
Add sugar and beat until mixture is smooth.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Combine flour and soda and add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Stir in vanilla. Add coconut and pecans.
Add egg whites.
Pour into three 9-inch greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes or until done.
