Cream margarine and Crisco until fluffy.
Add sugar and beat until smooth.
Add egg yolks; beat well.
Sift flour and soda together.
Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla, nuts and coconut.
Fold in egg whites.
Bake in 3 well-greased and floured pans at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
