Italian Beef
Italian Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. lean, boneless beef roast, garlic cloves, sweet basil, oregano and oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cut X in top of roast.
Put a clove of garlic in each 4 sections.
Sprinkle with sweet basil and oregano.
Brown in a little oil in a big heavy pan on both sides.
When brown, add onion soup mix, beef bouillon cube, water and beef broth.
Can add a little more water or broth, if needed.
Simmer for 4 hours. Remove, cool and slice thin.
Put back in broth and simmer 1 more hour.
Cool, put in containers and freeze.
Serve on hoagie buns. Can do 2 roasts at one time.
