Irish Soda Bread
Irish Soda Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9 or 10-inch cast-iron baking sheet.
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Make a well in the center.
In a small bowl combine butter, buttermilk and egg.
Add the liquids to the dry ingredients, pouring it into the well and stirring to form a soft dough.
Add raisins and mix lightly.
With lightly floured hands, shape into a ball on a baking sheet.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
