Inez Nix's Prune Cake
Inez Nix'S Prune Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 to 3/4 box medium prunes (1 c. mashed), 2 eggs, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. soda and 1 c. wesson oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Blend sugar, oil and eggs.
Add dry ingredients.
Add baking soda to buttermilk.
Add to mixture.
Mix well but do not beat. Add prunes and nuts.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour into pan and bake at 300Β° until cake pulls away from sides of pan.
