Icebox Pickles
Icebox Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with cucumbers (enough to fill a gal. jar), slice and pack in jar, 4 c. sugar, 4 c. white vinegar, 1/2 c. pickling salt and 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix good and pour over packed pickles in gallon jar.
No cooking, so make sure sugar is dissolved and solution is mixed well.
Sliced onion may be used, 2 or 3.
Pimentos can be added, if desired.
Store in refrigerator for at least 10 days before using.
