Icebox Cookies
Icebox Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, 1 1/4 c. sugar and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg and mix well.
Add vanilla and flour in which has been sifted the baking powder and salt.
Lastly, add the chopped nuts.
Divide into two equal parts and make each into a 1 1/2-inch roll.
Roll each in waxed paper and put in icebox overnight.
Cut in 1/8-inch slices and bake at 325Β° for about 10 minutes.
