Icebox Cookies
Icebox Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or substitute, 2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. chopped pecans, 3 1/2 c. sifted flour and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; mix well.
Sift salt and soda into flour.
Add nuts; add to first part and mix.
Put dough on well floured board; knead until smooth.
Roll into round roll of desired size; roll in wax paper.
Place in refrigerator overnight.
When ready to bake, slice very thin and bake in moderate oven (350Β°) until crisp.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
