Hush Puppies(Makes Approximately 24) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. flour, 3/4 c. corn meal (yellow), 1/2 tsp. baking soda, salt and pepper and 1 small onion, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Mix flour, cornmeal, soda, salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper (if desired).
Add onion, pepper and milk.
Drop by teaspoonful into hot grease and cook until golden and done (check one for doneness). These are excellent with fish.
I use homemade cocktail sauce to dip hush puppies and eat.
