Hungarian Cream Cheese Crescents
Hungarian Cream Cheese Crescents is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 lb. margarine, softened and nut or jam filling, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix flour, cream cheese and margarine thoroughly.
Form into a ball.
Refrigerate overnight in a bowl covered with waxed paper. Roll out dough a half or quarter at a time on a board covered with powdered sugar.
Use a pastry cutter to cut into approximately a 2-inch square or desired size.
Place small amount of filling in center and fold as desired.
Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a 350Β° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
