Hummingbird Cake
Hummingbird Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts and bananas.
Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until done.
Cool completely.
Spread frosting between layers and on top and sides of cake.
Put nuts on top.
