Hot Rolls
Hot Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. scalded milk, 2 eggs, beaten, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine shortening and boiling water; stir until shortening is melted.
Combine eggs, sugar and salt and beat in cold water. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
Combine 3 mixtures and add flour.
If dough is too soft to hold shape, add 1/4 cup more flour.
Cover and let stand in warm place 2 hours or until double in bulk.
Shape into rolls and allow to rise until double again. Bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
