Hot Fudge Sundae Cake
Hot Fudge Sundae Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, 2/3 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Have an 8-inch square pan ready.
Put flour, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of the cocoa, baking powder and salt into the ungreased pan.
Stir with a fork to mix well.
Stir in milk and oil until well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Sprinkle brown sugar, the remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and the chocolate chips over the batter.
Pour the hot water evenly over top.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes until surface looks dry, like a brownie.
Cool about 10 minutes, then scoop into serving bowl and top with a scoop of ice cream and a cherry.
