Hot Fudge Sauce
Hot Fudge Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces, 1/4 c. butter, 1 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar, 3/4 c. evaporated milk and 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, melt together the chocolate pieces and butter.
Gradually add the powdered sugar and evaporated milk, stirring constantly.
Bring the mixture to boiling; reduce heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes.
Remove saucepan from heat.
Stir in the vanilla.
Let the sauce stand for 10 minutes. Makes 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
