Hot Creamed Potato Salad
Hot Creamed Potato Salad is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 slices bacon, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 c. thinly sliced celery, 1/4 c. sliced green onion and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook bacon, drain, crumble and set aside.
Melt butter in large skillet; add celery and onion and saute until tender. Combine flour, sugar, salt, pepper, paprika, mustard and milk; stir into celery mixture.
Cook stirring constantly until thickened.
Stir in vinegar.
Add potatoes and green pepper; stir carefully to coat with dressing.
Heat thoroughly.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream and sprinkle with bacon.
Makes 6 servings.
