Hot Cranberry Salad
Hot Cranberry Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. chopped, peeled apples, 2 c. whole raw cranberries, 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 1 2/3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Oil a 2-quart casserole.
Place the chopped apples and cranberries in the casserole.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and cover with sugar.
In a medium mixing bowl, blend the oatmeal, walnuts, brown sugar and melted butter just to moisten.
Pour over fruit. Bake, uncovered, at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
