Hot Cranberry-Apple Casserole
Hot Cranberry-Apple Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. rome apples, sliced and unpeeled, 2 c. raw cranberries, 3/4 c. white sugar, lemon juice (optional) and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put apples in casserole.
Add cranberries; sprinkle white sugar over cranberries.
Mix flour, brown sugar, oatmeal and then add melted butter.
Mix with nuts.
Spread over top of casserole. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
(If Jonathan apples are used add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water to apples.)
If canned whole cranberries are used, cook apples before adding rest of ingredients.
