Hot Biscuits
Hot Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. shortening and about 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat oven to 450Β°.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening to flour mixture.
Stir in about 3/4 cup milk with a fork, gradually add additional milk, if needed, to make a soft, almost sticky dough.
Turn dough out on lightly floured wax paper and knead just until smooth.
Roll dough about 1/2-inch thick and cut with a floured cutter.
Place biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Brush with margarine or butter.
