Hot Banana Peppers is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. wesson oil, 3 c. sugar, 1 gal. vinegar, dash of garlic salt (optional) and dash of basil (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak (cut or whole) peppers in ice cold saltwater for 3 hours. Change water often.
Boil together oil, sugar and vinegar.
Let cool completely.
Drain peppers and pack in jars.
Pour liquid over peppers.
Sprinkle garlic salt and basil over peppers, if desired. Seal.
