Honey Raisin Bread

Preheat oven to slow (325Β°).
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a medium-size bowl.
Beat together the egg, shortening and honey in a large bowl.
Stir in the flour mixture alternately with the milk and buttermilk, just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in the raisins and pecans.
Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven on slow for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Remove the bread from the pan to a wire rack.
Let stand overnight before slicing.
