Homer's Famous Meat Loaf
Homer'S Famous Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 2 (8 oz.) tomato paste, 2 eggs, 1 large green pepper and 1/2 c. bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Chop onion and green pepper.
Mix all ingredients except catsup and tomato sauce.
Shape loaf in large roaster.
Spread 1/2 can tomato sauce and catsup on loaf and around loaf in roaster.
Bake at 350Β° in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and baste again with catsup and the other 1/2 can of tomato sauce. Precooked carrots may be placed around the meat loaf in the sauce. Bake 45 minutes more or until done.
