Homemade Pizza Dough
Homemade Pizza Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 3/4 c. flour, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. quick rise yeast (two 1/4 oz. packets), 1 tsp. salt and 8 oz. lukewarm water (1 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine flour, yeast, salt and sugar in mixing bowl and stir. Add vegetable oil and water.
Mix together all ingredients.
Knead by hand for 3 minutes; shape and put in bowl. Cover and let rise until double in volume (approximately 1/2 hour).
Punch down; divide into 2 equal pieces and shape into round balls or leave in one piece for 16-inch pizza.
Let dough rest for 4 minutes.
Roll out approximately 12 or 16-inches in diameter.
Spray pizza pan lightly with no stick vegetable cooking spray and wipe off excess. Place on pizza pan; let rise for 10 to 15 minutes.
Add sauce, toppings and cheese.
Place on bottom rack in cold oven; turn oven to 500Β° and bake 17 to 20 minutes, depending on oven.
