Homemade Granola Cereal
Homemade Granola Cereal is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. oatmeal (old fashioned), dry, 2/3 c. corn or vegetable oil, 2/3 c. honey, 1 c. cut up almonds (with skins on; use blender or knife) and 1 c. coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Heat oatmeal in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish (sprayed with a no-stick spray) at 350° for 10 minutes.
Mix and stir in oil, honey, almonds and coconut. Return to 325° oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Take out and stir every 10 minutes while baking. Browns nicely.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well and store in refrigerator.
Keeps for weeks.
Very good with milk as cereal or as a snack food.
