Homemade Cranberry Sauce
Homemade Cranberry Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1 bag cranberries, 2 c. sugar and 1 heaping tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Wash cranberries.
Cover with water.
Cook about 10 minutes at slow boil.
Cranberries will "pop."
Strain through Foley food mill; sieve and turn to get thick pulp.
Add sugar and cinnamon. Slow boil and cook down to thicken.
Usually done when film forms on top.
Test by allowing small amount to cool on plate.
Slant plate to test for thickness.
Pour in jar.
Seal or refrigerate.
