Homemade Bread
Homemade Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. shortening, 1 tbsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 1 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Mix sugar, shortening, salt and milk together and bring to a boil.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add to mixture.
Add flour gradually.
Place in greased bowl and let rise until double in size.
Turn dough onto floured board and knead well.
Divide and place in greased pans.
Cover and let rise.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Makes 4 small loaves.
